ThingsEye Indoor Positioning Solution (IPS) utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to provide real-time location tracking in indoor environments. It is designed for scenarios such as shopping malls, hospitals, warehouses, and smart offices, enabling navigation, asset tracking, andproximity-based services.

2.2 Detailed Features

As you hover over the entries in the right-hand list, the BH01 icon nearest to the corresponding beacon will highlight in green and display the beacon's name for easy identification

Simply click on any listed beacon name to instantly access detailed information about that specific beacon.

The BH01 devices are equipped with advanced temperature and humidity sensors. You can monitor real-time environmental conditions, with current temperature and humidity readings readily available for your review.

3.How to Build a Indoor positioning Solution

3.1 Network Structure

The network consists of end nodes,beacons and gateways, working together to monitor environmental data in real time.


3.2 Get Account

Contact your local representative to register a customer account on ThingsEye.io.


3.3 Get Devices

Reach out to your local representative to acquire the necessary devices for your Indoor PositioningSolution. These devices include:

  • BH01: For beacon and sensor scanning.
  • Beacon:For positioning
  • Gateway: For data transmission.

Ensure that all devices are pre-registered on ThingsEye.io before use.


3.3Connect the Gateway

  1. Connect the gateway to your router using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Power on the gateway and allow it to obtain an IP address from the router. Ensure the gateway has a stable internet connection.

3.5 Connected Devices

Once the gateway is connected, scan the BH01 QR code to register the device to the server. Once registration is complete, all registered nodes(BH01) will automatically connect to the network. Youcan verify their status on the platform.


3.6 Verify Dashboard

Log in to the ThingsEye.io dashboard to confirm that all devices are online and transmitting data correctly


3.7 Update Floor Plan

Upload your floor plan and place the BH01 on it. When you hover over a beacon, It will be highlighted in the chart. The closest BH01 to the beacon will be shown in green on the chart.

3.8 Install Devices.

  • Place the scanning device in an open location.

  • Place the gateway in a suitable location
